The Unseen

There was once a man who became shipwrecked alone on a desert island. He struggled to stay alive, and his only hope was a small cabin which he had constructed from branches and palm leaves. One day, he returned from a fruitless food hunt to find that somehow his hut had caught fire. He groaned and cried out to the sky "Where are you God? Why would you let such a thing happen to me?". That night he slept cold and scared beneath a tree. In the morning he was woken up by his rescuers. "But how did you find me?" he asked. "We saw your smoke signals", they replied.
